Speaker: Mark Niemiec, Power Island Energy
Power Island Energy is a firm who deploys Combined Cooling Heat and Power Plants. Several local Data Center locations are working with Power Island Energy on proposals for critical environment sites seeking alternative primary power sources other than the grid or an incumbent provider. Data Center managers are questioning the distribution capabilities of the future grid, and pursuing the idea of "islanding" critical power with onsite generation.
